Traveling Exhibition Information
Description: Installation 188 is a conceptual work by artist Neil Tetkowski. The work was first exhibited at the United Nations in New York to coincide with the creation of the World Mandala Monument. This work measures 24 feet long (7.5 meters) and features a series of glass bottles numbered 1-188 which contain raw earth from every country of the world. An elegant aluminum structure securely holds the bottles.

Photos: A series of 188 photos were taken of the artist with each person that participated in the creation of the World Mandala Monument. Fourteen framed photos from this series are part of the exhibition. Additionally, " World Citizens" is a framed composite work that includes the entire series of 188 photos. It measures 48" x 48" (120cm x 120 cm).

Sculptures:

World Mandala Spiral made of earth from all 188 countries. This ceramic wall sculpture measures 38 inches (one meter) in diameter. An expanded show can include additional works.
Catalog: A catalog titled The Common Ground World Project with an essay by Robert C. Morgan is available.

Video/DVD: A 17 minute informative video is included and is an engaging way to quickly explain the show to children and adults.
Visiting Artist: The artist is available for gallery talks, speaking engagements, special teaching situations and meetings with the press.

Shipping & Installation: The exhibition comes crated and ready for easy assembly and installation. Suggested space requirements: Minimum 800 square feet (90 meters) for "Installation 188" and 500 square feet (55meters) for the rest of the exhibition. A computer disk is provided with a biography of the artist, a quote by the artist, a quote by Under Secretary General Nitin Desai, and the list of 188 countries to be used for the walls of your gallery.

Fees: An exhibition fee of $2,500 is due when show dates are confirmed, door to door insurance for $115,000 and transportation.
